Rewrapt lets you keep multiple Gmail accounts and common Google apps in one native Windows app.
Use the guide below when setting up the app for the first time, managing account tabs, choosing layout preferences, and configuring notifications or tray behavior.
Quick Start
Unlock the app
Open Rewrapt.
Choose the monthly or yearly plan on the unlock screen.
Complete checkout in the Microsoft Store flow.
Select Check subscription if the app does not unlock immediately after purchase.
Tip: A trial starts automatically at checkout when your Microsoft account is eligible.
Add your first account
Select + Account in the toolbar.
Enter a label that helps you recognize the account, such as Work or Personal.
Choose the first app tab to open for that account.
Sign in to the Google account in the web view.
Tip: Each account uses its own browser profile, so account sessions stay separated.
Create more tabs
Select the + button in the toolbar.
Choose the account for the new tab.
Choose the Google app to open.
Use the tab strip or sidebar to switch between tabs.
Tip: Supported apps are generated from the app catalog: Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Maps, Calendar, Tasks, Drive, Photos, YouTube, News, Meet, Slides.

Accounts
Accounts keep Google sign-ins, tabs, unread counts, and notification settings organized.
Add an account
Use + Account when you want to sign in to another Gmail or Google account. Give the account a clear label before signing in so it is easy to identify in tabs and settings.
Rename an account
Open the tab manage menu for any tab belonging to the account, then choose Rename account. The new label is used across that account's tabs and notification settings.
Keep accounts separate
Each account gets its own WebView profile. Signing out of one account does not sign you out of your other account profiles.
Tabs and Google apps
Tabs can open Gmail or any supported Google app for a selected account.
Switch tabs
Select a tab to show that account and app. Gmail tabs can show an unread badge when unread messages are detected.
Change the app in a tab
Open the tab manage menu and choose one of the available Google apps. The tab reloads to the selected app for the same account profile.
Reorder tabs
Drag a tab along the tab strip or sidebar to move it. You can also use the manage menu to move the active tab left or right.
Move or duplicate a tab into a new window
Use the tab manage menu to move a tab into a new window or duplicate it into a new window. This is useful when you want a focused window for a specific account or app.
Remove a tab
Use the tab manage menu and choose Remove tab. Rewrapt asks for confirmation before removing the tab.
Layouts and windows
Choose top tabs, a left sidebar, split view, or separate windows depending on how you work.
Choose top tabs or a left sidebar
Select the Tabs button in the toolbar and choose Top tabs or Left sidebar. The left sidebar can be resized by dragging its resize handle.
Use split view
Select Split to show two tabs side by side. Select Single to return to one tab. Split view needs at least two tabs in the current window.
Use multiple windows
Move or duplicate a tab into a new window from the tab manage menu. Rewrapt restores saved windows and tab assignments when it starts again.
Open popout windows
When a Google app opens a new browser window, Rewrapt opens it in a separate app window using the same account profile.
Notifications
Rewrapt can convert Gmail web notifications into native Windows notifications.
Turn Gmail notifications on or off
Open Settings, then use the Gmail notifications option. When enabled, Rewrapt grants Gmail notification permission inside WebView2 and shows native Windows notifications for the correct account.
Choose notification permission per account
In Settings, each account has a notification permission choice. Use app default follows the app setting. Allow grants Gmail permission in the WebView. Block prevents Gmail notifications for that account.
Open a notification
Select a Windows notification to bring Rewrapt forward and open the matching Gmail account tab when possible.
Check Windows notification settings
Use Open Windows notification settings in Settings if notifications are enabled in Rewrapt but do not appear in Windows.
Settings
Settings control appearance, external links, notifications, tray behavior, and close behavior.
Appearance
Choose System, Light, or Dark. The preference applies across open windows and new popout windows.
External links
Choose whether supported external links open in your default browser or stay inside Rewrapt when they belong to supported Google apps.
Minimize to tray
When enabled, minimizing a window hides it in the system tray. Hidden windows keep their web sessions running, so notifications can continue while the app stays open.
Close button behavior
Choose whether Rewrapt asks every time, minimizes to the tray, or closes immediately when you press X in the title bar.
Troubleshooting
I do not see notifications.
Open Settings and confirm Gmail notifications are enabled.
Check the notification permission setting for the affected account.
Open Windows notification settings from Rewrapt and confirm Windows allows notifications for the app.
Open Gmail in the account tab and confirm Gmail's own notification setting is enabled.
A Google account opens in the wrong tab.
Confirm you selected the tab for the intended account before signing in.
If needed, sign out in that tab and sign in with the correct Google account.
Use account labels such as Work, Personal, or Client to reduce confusion.
The app still shows the unlock screen after purchase.
Select Check subscription on the unlock screen.
Confirm you are signed in to Windows and Microsoft Store with the Microsoft account used for purchase.
Close and reopen Rewrapt if the Store purchase flow has just completed.
The sidebar is too narrow or too wide.
Switch to Left sidebar mode.
Drag the vertical resize handle beside the sidebar until the tab labels are comfortable to read.
